AAAA Records in Cloud Hosting
If you want to create a new AAAA record for any domain address or subdomain hosted within your cloud hosting account, it is not going to take you more than a couple of easy steps to do that. Our in-house built Hepsia CP is very intuitive to use and it will enable you to set up or edit every single record easily. As soon as you sign in and navigate to the DNS Records section, where you'll discover all present records for your domain names and subdomains, you will just have to click the "New" button, pick out AAAA from a small drop-down menu in the pop-up that will appear, enter or paste the needed IPv6 address and save the change - it is as easy as that. The new record is going to be fully live within no more than one hour and the hostname which you have created it for will start opening whatever content you have with the other provider. When required, you'll also be able to modify the TTL (Time To Live) value, which shows the time in seconds the new record will be active after you eventually modify it to something different or you simply delete it.
AAAA Records in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you have a semi-dedicated server account from our company and you need to set up an AAAA record for a domain name you have hosted in it or a subdomain you have set up, it'll take you only a few mouse clicks inside the Hepsia Control Panel to achieve that. Even if you have never had a hosting account before, you will not encounter any problems as you will use a very simple and easy-to-use interface. All the DNS records for your domain names are going to be listed in a section of the CP with the same name, so as soon as you go there, you will see all records that have been created automatically or manually and you'll be able to set up a new one by simply clicking on the corresponding button. A compact pop-up will appear, so with a couple of clicks you can choose the type of record you require and for which domain or subdomain it will be set up. Then, just paste the IPv6 address within a text box, save the modification and an hour later the new AAAA record will be fully active. As an optional setting, you can choose the time this record is going to be working after you change it or remove it in the future. This is the so-called TTL, or Time To Live value of the record, which you can modify from the standard 3600 seconds when the other service provider requires it.
